GRANTS
JUNCTION
OVERVIEW
LEADERSHIP ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
-LEAD-
Junction grants are designed to support innovative and impactful initiatives that strengthen Jewish life for young adults. Whether you’re building a leadership development program or fostering community engagement, our funding helps turn ideas into action.

At the core of our grant decisions is a key question:
Does this project create long-term strategic value for meaningful community engagement and/or leadership development?

We support existing Jewish community initiatives that focus on sustainable leadership growth. If your project addresses a critical gap in leadership development and fosters long-term impact, this grant can help take it to the next level.
WHAT WE FUND:
Junction grants typically support projects in two main categories:
1. Community Engagement
-
Strengthening local, national, or pan-European Jewish life.
-
Creating spaces for young adults to connect and engage.
-
Encouraging collaboration between smaller and larger communities.

Examples:
-
Projects that increase representation of smaller communities in national opportunities.
-
Initiatives that bring young Jewish adults together across different regions.
-
Cultural or educational programming that fosters Jewish action.
2. Leadership Development
-
Developing leaders within a community framework and grassroots initiatives.
-
Preparing emerging leaders for broader community institutional engagement.
-
Strengthening leadership pipelines at local, national, or European levels.
Examples:
-
Projects that increase representation of smaller communities in national opportunities.
-
Initiatives that bring young Jewish adults together across different regions.
-
Cultural or educational programming that fosters Jewish action.
Ultimately, the format of the project is up to you — be intentional, creative and imaginative.
The grants are designed for ideas that involve and engage young adult Jewish community members in meaningful ways.
We want to help you explore, pilot, and develop innovative ideas and concepts for community programming specifically aimed at leadership development and active member engagement.
If you have a new program idea, we're happy to consult with you on how to make it happen. We also support your ongoing search for sustainable solutions to leadership gaps and community engagement.
We believe in your ideas, your knowledge, and your growth.
Applicants should clearly articulate their vision, set desirable and measurable goals, and explain the gap in the community their project aims to address.
